Cool that this record has been discovered by the Internet. I was lucky to find it in the mid 1980's in a used record/book shop in Ithaca - Blue Fox Records or something. Strange that googling Pike Distahl and Saroff only finds references of the LP. This LP seems to be the only record of their existence.
thanks richard! after reading a good many beat poet, i've been looking for something like this, albeit i know the two aren't really related.. kerouac, burroughs and ginsberg are a breed of their own. i would call this beat for the common man ala aaron copland? : )
